ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT
Crohn’s disease is a chronic inflammatory condition of the gastrointestinal tract that may affect as many as 700,000 Americans. I am one of those 700,000 people that are affected by this disease and wanted to make a difference in the efforts of finding a cure. My objective is to raise awareness about Crohn’s disease and raise funds to support the research efforts of the CCFA (Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America).
For more than 40 years, research supported by CCFA has contributed to the growing body of knowledge and understanding of Crohn’s disease. CCFA is a nonprofit, volunteer driven organization dedicated to finding a cure for Crohn’s and Ulcerative Colitis. Today, the CCFA actively supports research in the field and there are approximately 80 new therapies in the pipeline. An outstanding 80% of the money raised and donated to the CCFA goes towards research, education, and support.
On Saturday, October 1, 2016, the 4th Annual Golf 4 Guts will be held at Juliette Falls Golf club in Dunnellon, Florida. We are expecting over 100 golfers to attend and support this event. We are in need of donation items to complete our raffle. Any items would be appreciated and will go a long way. Thank you for helping me achieve my goal.
